Providing a Forum for Uniting Play Practitioners

When I first entered this market over 25 years ago, it was about having a good job with a good employer. That changed over the years as I became passionate about the impact that play and the use of playgrounds have on kids’ lives. My employer was a founding member of IPEMA and I have been lucky enough to represent them from the beginning. IPEMA offers great benefits like the certification programs, market sales benchmarking and the educational safety academy series, but its greatest benefit is the forum it provides for uniting play practitioners and promoting the importance of play. The IPEMA member companies may be competitors in the sales arena, but their representatives to the organization share my passion for play and we are united in the effort to have a positive impact on child development through play.
